Jas Sum Kral has announced Söta Kakor, set to launch in the summer of 2020 as an exclusive for retailers in Sweden.
The project is said to have been under development since 2017, with JSK owner, Riste Ristevski, partnering with the brand’s Swedish distributor (Kind Cigars) to bring the cigar to fruition.
Söta Kakor translates to Sweet Cookies in English, providing a possible hint as to the cigar’s intended flavor profile. The blend will consist of a high-priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Criollo ’98 binder, and fillers from four regions of Nicaragua. While the artwork (inspired from traditional Swedish artwork) and box count (12) has been revealed, Ristevski is holding back on pricing until the cigar’s release in 2020.
